The County of Lanark Law Association is a member of the Federation of Ontario Lawyers.

What do we do?

 Provide the public with:

  • information about lawyers practicing in the County of Lanark
  • quality legal services through education/mentorship and collegiality of our members
  • a public website to connect the public with an area lawyer that suits their needs

Provide our members with:

  • quality ongoing legal education
  • panel discussions with members of our local judiciary
  • information from the Federation of Ontario Law Associations (FOLA) about changes to laws and legal procedures affecting their practice
  • opportunities for social interaction with other members
  • a forum for lobbying all levels of government for the enhancement of legal practices and services
  • discounts on travel, entertainment and other member services offered through our membership in FOLA
